WebnoteHappy 1.3.0b10 - Last beta before 1.3.0

There’s a hot new beta straight from the Happy Ovens: WebnoteHappy 1.3.0 beta 10.

What’s hot and fresh?

  • Quick Add Webnote - default F6 - adds without tags - whatever is selected will become the note (only in Safari)
  • Growl integration - preliminary - Quick Add will report back
  • Adjustable font sizes in Preferences - Small, Medium, and Large - you can make WebnoteHappy really small with by shooting a small font, small toolbar icons with no text or even no toolbar and hiding the folders. Or you can make it more readable by picking larger fonts.
  • WebnoteHappy will not run if there are already other instances running.

As always, let us know how it tastes by sending email to to feedback (at) happyapps.com!

In beta 8 I created three or four web notes in succession using the bookmarklet. Within a few moments they all shared the same tags without me setting them. Just wondering if you had seen this.

    Thanks

It would be great to be able to add URLs from the iTunes music store by dragging them on to the dock icon or similar. See “iTunes Music Store URLs” @ http://www.apple.com/itunes/hottips/

    Thanks

    Bob

The ability to open selected WH items as tabs within a single browser window would be a very useful feature to me.

I was talking to Ma.gnolia today and she was pretty upset that you didn’t invite her to WebnoteHappy.

I am very, very excited about this. WH is one of my favorite apps, and kicks the pants off every other bookmark manager out there.

Honestly, I downloaded the last beta, but never installed it, figuring I’d save up and savor the full flavor of the release version. I think there’s something seriously wrong with me :)

I’m waiting desperately for ma.gnolia integration and the addition of a star rating system (to mesh with ma.gnolia).

    Keep those updates flowing :-)

  7. Ian Beck Says:

I’m with the other people who want Ma.gnolia integration. It would be very easy to support; all you have to do is let people specify their API URL (because Ma.gnolia has an API that is identical to del.icio.us).

Also, major apologies that I hadn’t listed WebnoteHappy on Tagamac yet. I had completely forgotten about its tagging capabilities. I shall fix this forthwith.
