About Happy Apps

Happy Apps LLC is a software company based in Falls Church, VA - a suburb of Washington, DC.


We are called Happy Apps because we want to make users happy on the Mac, the iPad and the iPhone. Our founder, Luis de la Rosa, is a cheerful fellow who has been creating software professionally for over 16 years.

  3. January 2006 - WebnoteHappy Lite 1.0 released
  4. May 2006 - WebnoteHappy 1.0 released

  7. November 2006 - Ruby on Rails consulting practice starts
  8. September 2007 - WebnoteHappy 1.3 released
  9. March 2008 - Joined iPhone Developer Program
  10. April 2008 - Mac OS X consulting practice starts
  11. July 2008 - App Store opens
  12. July 2008 - Happy Apps focuses on Mac and iPhone exclusively
  13. August 2008 - iPhone consulting practice starts
  14. August 2009 - Organized iPhoneDevCamp DC
  15. January 2010 - Webnote 2.0 beta released
  16. April 2010 - Apple releases iPad and opens iPad App Store
  17. April 2010 - Organized iPad DC conference
  18. July 2010 - iPad consulting practice starts
