Importing and exporting XBEL
What is XBEL?
XBEL stands for the XML Bookmark Exchange Language. It is used when you want to move or copy your bookmarks between different applications.
What can I do with XBEL?
You can export to XBEL via "File > Export to XBEL...". This will create an XBEL file that you can then import in another application.
You can import from an XBEL file via "File > Import from XBEL...". The XBEL file needs to have the ".xbel" extension and the XBEL Doctype declaration. If you have folders in the XBEL file, these will be converted to notes.
Where can I find out more about XBEL?
The XBEL homepage is the central resource for XBEL.
